Bespoke hypnobirthing

Individual hypnobirthing sessions are wonderful because they are tailored especially to you. This means that you can get the maximum benefit from your sessions. You will be able to relax, nurture and bond with your baby in a safe environment where you can voice any individual worries or concerns that you may have


These sessions use hypnobirthing and hypnotherapy techniques to match your needs. The calming hypnobirthing techniques will help you gain the skills and confidence for a positive childbirth experience and the relaxing hypnotherapy will help you overcome any personal concerns and enjoy your pregnancy.


Calm, confident and relaxed

You will learn how to relax quickly, keep calm and feel confident and positive, These techniques will prepare you whatever sort of birth you have and help you stay calm and in control if you have any medical intervention.


Each session is very calming and nurturing and allows you to relax and bond with your baby. The sessions work brilliantly alongside your midwife, antenatal or NCT class allowing you an opportunity, just for yourself, to focus on what is best for you and your baby.


Having one to one hypnobirthing also means that you can focus on any individual concerns that you may have such as specific worries, a previous birth experience, phobia, family issues, on-going stress or lifestyle changes.

Relaxation techniques and information to help you relax and manage any discomfort or pain during labour. 


 Visualisation and mental rehearsal of the birth and of parenthood to help you have a happy, comfortable and positive experience for you and your baby.


You will receive course handouts and a hypnotherapy MP3 to support your sessions at home.



When should you start hypnobirthing?

You can start at any time and spread the sessions out to suit you which also gives you time to enjoy the relaxation and practice the techniques. Most people find that 4 - 6 sessions are really beneficial, depending on individual circumstances. 


Its never too late for a session of to be of benefit though. If you are approaching your due date, even one or two sessions will teach you some useful skills and techniques to help you relax and calm your anxiety.

How I Can Help

Working with mums to be is amazing. I have lots of experience in this area and specialist training in Maternity Reflexology and Hypnotherapy for Childbirth. I truly love helping women to enjoy their pregnancy and have a positive birth experience. 


My sessions take place in my practice in Old Town, but I also provide online sessions so you can enjoy hypnobirthing in the comfort of your own home.
