How do I know if it is right for me?

You can find out more at an Initial Consultation where you can ask questions, discuss how you would like help and decide whether hypnotherapy is right for you. We can discuss what goals you would like to work towards and find out more about how we will work together. You will also receive a free relaxing hypnosis MP3 to use at home.  

What happens in the sessions?

In the sessions that follow, we will talk about the progress you have made so far and then discuss how you can continue this. This is followed by the relaxing hypnosis which will consolidate what we have discussed.  All the sessions are tailored to your individual needs and are positive, relaxed and informal. 

How many sessions will I need?

The number of appointments needed varies from person to person and most people feel an improvement very quickly in as little as 8 - 12 sessions. Phobias may be resolved in 3 or 4 sessions and stop smoking is a single session.

Most clients experience positive results in a relatively short space of time. However success can not guaranteed, client participation is required and results vary from person to person.

What does hypnosis feel like?

The benefits of the positive work that we do together are enhanced with the use of hypnosis. It is a very relaxing experience, similar to daydreaming. We call this relaxation a trance and you naturally experience this many times a day – when you are driving, watching TV or reading for example. It often feels very ordinary and enjoyable and you are completely in control and can bring yourself out of trance at any time.


Online

You can have your hypnotherapy or hypnobirthing online. These sessions are very popular and just as effective as face to face sessions. Many people prefer online sessions as they are convenient, there is no travelling or parking and you can relax in the comfort of your own home.

All you need is a good internet connection and somewhere quiet where you wont be interrupted. The sessions are done via Zoom, which is free and easy to set up (I can show you how).You can have all your sessions online or mix them with coming into the clinic, to fit around your lifestyle and commitments.
